Committees

The Committees, Schedules & Attendance module starts out with Committees.Any time you work with schedules or record attendance you are generally working with an organized group, committee or class. These groups are all defined as committee groups in the system. You may create as many committees as you need. (As long as you can find a unique 4 character code to identify the committee.) Any member that has been entered into the Names module is eligible to be added to a committee, also a member can be added to as many committees as needed.

Committees may be created for...

• Boards & Committees
• Sunday School Classes
• "Prayer Chain" members
• Attendance for special meetings or classes
• Any group of members that need to have mailings that can not be selected by a basic member type selection.

The system allows two types of Committees, Regular and Tier. The sample screen (Click on sample to see a full size image) shows the layout of the Tier committee (listed first), and a Regular Committee. A Tier committee is ideal for keeping track of Prayer Chains or Calling Lists. It allows you to easily organize these members in a “tree” format so that you can quickly see how each person fits into the organization.
